After receiving his degree in Integrated Supply Management from Central Michigan University, Mark began his career working for a world leading medical device manufacturer as a Production Planner. Mark quickly established himself as a performer and leader in the organization and throughout the next nine years held many key leadership roles. Most notable of these roles was Global Supply Chain Manager while living in Ireland in support of the companies cutting accessory division.
Mark then joined a world leading aluminum producer to start a state of the art aluminum casting and extrusion facility. In this role Mark established the pull system from customer order through raw material supply as well as managing the Logistics Department. Most recently, Mark accepted the leadership role of General Manager at MidLink Logistics in January of 2015.
Over his career Mark has a proven track record of results and building exceptional teams. He will provide leadership and direction for our employees and our customers today and long into the future.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Mark replied with the following:
“Having the opportunity to grow and develop MidLink Logistics and our team of people is something I am very passionate about. I truly love the
business I am in! It is incredibly rewarding to identify and solve the challenging problems and strategies that our customers present us with. As both a 3PL and an Asset Based Carrier I am very proud of the unwavering focus that we put on customer care. The level of trust that our customers put in our hands with each load is met with a commitment level to exceed their expectations. I am proud to lead the team of people that make this happen each day!”
Lisa began her career in transportation in 2001 when her family farming business diversified from exclusively hauling grain into transporting general goods. With her extensive background in the farming industry, Lisa has built a strong customer base made up of some leaders in the following business segments; food ingredients, agricultural grain bins, agricultural irrigation, and farm tractors and implements.
Beyond her successful career in transportation, Lisa is a well accomplished and incredibly active. She has a degree in Applied Science and Technology and is a licensed dental hygienist. Lisa is highly involved at both the administrative and coaching levels in our communities youth sports programs; little league baseball, basketball, and wrestling.
When asked what she likes best about working at MidLink, Lisa replied with the following:
“The working atmosphere that has been created is well balanced, supportive and genuine, hence making it the primary reason I pride myself in being part of the MidLink team. Each member works toward a common goal that includes providing quality service for our customers as well as building respectful and honest relationships with existing and new carriers. All of these characteristics are motivating and make the work day and industry pleasurable.”
Ted began his career with us here at MidLink Logistics in 2014 after graduating from Western Michigan University where he spent six semesters on the Dean’s List. WMU has one of the most prestigious ISM programs in the country. Ted graduated from WMU with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics.
Ted spent his first year working as a Logistics Coordinator in support of MidLink Logistics’ largest customer and did not disappoint. He became the lead account representative on that customer account in 2016 and has used his knowledge and experience to maintain and grow the business. He has shown a real passion for delivering on the commitments that he makes as well as the relationships that he has developed with his peers and his large network of trusted transportation partners.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Ted replied with the following:
“There are many things that I like about working for MidLink Logistics LLC. I love the relationships that I have made with both my colleagues as well as the many people that we conduct business with on a daily basis. I also enjoy the team mentality that MidLink prides itself on, MidLink Logistics works together as a team to increase our capabilities as a company while also creating an environment for individual success. Every day is something new! When I walk into work in the morning I don’t know what the day is going to bring. I also enjoy speaking with the many drivers I deal with on a daily basis.”
Chris began his career at MidLink in 2015 after acquiring more than twenty years of management and sales experience. Having worked in a variety of industries over the years, Chris has a strong commitment to serving his clients and helping his team when called upon. He has a passion for fishing, volunteering, sports and family.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Chris replied with the following:
“I love our team and the dedication to our client’s needs. Everyone on the team works hard and has fun while providing our clients with the best service in the industry.”
Cody started his career with MidLink in 2015 after three successful years in retail sales. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a major in Food and Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing and a minor in General Business. He joined the team as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role Cody was assisting multiple Logistic Account Representatives with a focus on
learning the transportation industry. Cody quickly found success and was promoted to a Logistics Account Representative in February of 2016.
Outside of work he enjoys spending most of his free time with his family and outdoors doing everything from playing sports to hunting and fishing.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Cody replied with the following:
“I have greatly enjoyed becoming a member of the MidLink team because everyone is friendly and always willing to lend a hand in helping me learn. It’s nice being part of a team that works well together because every day brings new challenges that we must overcome together to succeed. I also enjoy working together and building relationships outside of the office with new customers and carriers.”
Mandon began his career in the transportation and logistics industry in 2010 after graduating from Western Michigan University where he majored in Aviation Science and Administration with a minor in General Business. He was first introduced to the industry after accepting a position in Chicago with one of the fastest-growing transportation companies in the world at that time.
After gaining invaluable training, experience, and industry exposure with a focus on sales, he decided to pursue an opportunity as the Truckload Sales Manager with a smaller company in need of his expertise. After two successful years, he furthered his career by taking an opportunity with an asset-based transportation company as their Sales Manager. This new role allowed him to gain additional experience in fleet operations, management and team-building with a concentration on sales growth.
Mandon recently moved back to Pure Michigan, and we are excited for his contribution and the experience he brings to our team.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Mandon replied with the following:
After my initial conversations with MidLink’s leadership, it was very clear this was the company I wanted to join and grow with. I quickly realized their passionate and positive culture would lead to continued success for myself and for the company. I wanted to continue my career with a company who had big plans for growth and a passion for servicing their customers at a high-level. MidLink is exactly that, and it’s easy to recognize this right when you step in the doors. The number of transportation companies in this industry is at an all-time high, but too many of them don’t follow through with the commitments they make to their customers, carriers and employees. At MidLink, we strive to be better than our competition, but we also work diligently to ensure accountability amongst ourselves. Over time, this will continue to yield great accomplishments which will be felt by our customers, carriers and each other. I’m very proud to be a part of this team.
Justin joined the MidLink team in 2016 after working in customer service for several large corporations for the previous 10 years. He attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College with a major in Business Administration and plans to continue his education at Western Michigan University.
Outside of work Justin enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, disc golfing, and hiking. He spends as much time as he can with his son Emmett and the rest of his family.
When asked what he likes most about working at MidLink he replied with the following:
I love our close-knit team here at MidLink. Everyone is always ready to assist when needed and enjoys spending time together outside of the office. I also like having the opportunity to work closely with both customers and carriers because it allows me to build strong, lasting relationships with them. It is a great feeling getting to know the needs of a customer and being able to deliver the most effective solutions for them.
Brandon began his career at MidLink Logistics as a Logistics Coordinator in January of 2017 after graduating cum laude from Western Michigan University with a major in Integrated Supply Chain Management and a minor in Business Analytics. He is a former United States Marine that served our country in Afghanistan between the years 2011 and 2012. It was in the USMC that Brandon started his career in logistics working on a flight line transporting military troops and equipment via aerial lift. During his spare time, Brandon enjoys being outdoors golfing, going on canoeing trips, or goose hunting.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Brandon replied with the following:
“Becoming part of the MidLink team has been a great accomplishment of mine. I enjoy the team that I work with for their great enthusiasm and dedication for what they do on a day to day basis. They have provided me with excellent training and I am very proud to be a part of MidLink. My goal here to provide excellent, best in class, customer service will surely
be accomplished from the knowledge and mentoring that I can gain from the team.”
Zach joined our team at MidLink in 2016 as an intern in the role of Logistics Coordinator. Prior to joining MidLink Zach worked for UPS, in manufacturing, and managed a public golf course. Zach is very active as a full time student at Western Michigan University where he is majoring in Integrated Supply Chain Management. Zach is also the President of the
Western Michigan University club rugby team.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Zach replied with the following:
“From the beginning, my first experiences with the team were excellent. The work environment is friendly and relaxing while offering various daily challenges that will expand my knowledge on the logistics and transportation industry. I am very excited about the opportunities I have at MidLink.”
Jordan joined our team at MidLink in 2017 as an intern in the role of Logistics Coordinator. Before joining MidLink, Jordan worked as a Delivery Foreman for Rentalex and was a Griller at BD’s Mongolian BBQ. Jordan is a full time student at Western Michigan University and will be graduating in December with a major in Sales & Business Marketing.
In his free time, Jordan is very passionate about football and spending his down time with friends.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Jordan replied with the following:
My favorite part about working at MidLink Logistics is the atmosphere around the office. It is relaxing and friendly but offers various challenges throughout the day. I am excited about the opportunity to learn about the logistics industry, and expand my knowledge in sales.
David joined our team at Midlink in March of 2017 as an intern in the role of Logistics Coordinator. David is a full time student at Michigan State University and is majoring in Supply Chain Management. David excels at Michigan State as he has made the Dean’s list the past three semesters while also working part time as a supervisor at the cafeteria on campus.
Outside of work, David enjoys going to concerts, playing golf, and hanging out with family and friends.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, David replied with the following:
The atmosphere is so friendly and fun; everyone is there to get their work done but have a good time doing it. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work and learn more about the transportation industry at MidLink.
Alyssa joined the MidLink team in 2015 as the Accounting Specialist. She brought valuable experience with prior work in both non-profit and manufacturing companies. Alyssa graduated from Western Michigan University in 2016 with a major in Accountancy and minor in General Business where she spent all three of her full-time semesters on the Dean’s List in addition
to working full-time throughout the duration of her college career.
In her spare time Alyssa is very passionate about exercise, cooking, reading, and spending time with family.
When asked what she likes best about working at MidLink, Alyssa replied with the following:
“From my very first meeting with the team I knew this was where I wanted to be. I love being in my element all day, but the best part about the job is that I can depend on the team and am able to communicate with everyone easily. Working with so many equally and unfailingly driven colleagues makes for a great day, every day.”
Jacob became a part of the MidLink team in May of 2017 as an intern in the accounting department in the role of Accounting Assistant. He is currently a senior at Western Michigan University dual-majoring in Accounting and Finance and maintaining academic excellence by being on the Dean’s list 5 of the 6 semesters he has been at WMU.
Outside of work Jacob he is very passionate about sports. He is an avid Detroit sports fan and whether the Tigers, Red Wings, Lions or Pistons are playing, he is always happy to sit down and watch a game.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Jacob replied with the following:
I enjoy the culture MidLink endorses in their employees and in the business as a whole. I like the ability to see how the business operates and how my position as the accounting intern factors into the company’s operations.
Andrew began his career with us here at MidLink Logistics in 2014 as an intern in the role of Logistics Coordinator. His focus was on supporting our Logistics Account Representatives during the peak of the produce season. Upon graduation from Western Michigan University where he spent four semesters on the Dean’s List, Andrew was hired on full time as a Logistics Coordinator. Andrew graduated from WMU with majors in Integrated Supply Management and Finance, and minors in Accountancy and General Business. In 2016 Andrew took on the role of Transportation Manager of MidLink’s asset company, MidLink Trucking. Since then Andrew has worked diligently with MidLink Logistics to provide our Account Representatives with exceptional and reliable drivers for all of our load needs.
When asked what he likes best about working at MidLink, Andrew replied with the following:
“I enjoy the work culture and the environment with my colleagues. I like the change of pace each day can bring while creating new customer relationships and developing solutions that work for all parties involved. I also enjoy the teamwork that my peers demonstrate on a daily basis as we tackle new problems.”
